David Brammeld RBSA lives and works in Stoke on Trent (an area known as The Potteries). Much of the artist’s work is inspired by the (decayed) urban landscape of this area which was once dominated by heavy industry - coal mining, steel, railways and the once world-famous pottery industry, and provided its distinctive identity. He works in a variety of media and sizes: acrylics, charcoal, graphite, oils, pastels, mixed media.

David also runs a series of art classes in Newcastle under Lyme, Staffordshire.
